Jacob “Jake” T. Newcomb is a seasoned attorney and partner at the firm’s Fayetteville office. A double graduate of the University of Arkansas, Jake first earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2013 from the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.  Continuing his education in Fayetteville, Jake subsequently earned his Juris Doctor in 2018, graduating Cum Laude and in the top 25th percentile of his class.  

With extensive experience in civil litigation, Jake works on behalf of multiple national insurance companies defending their insureds. In addition, Jake has broad experience representing individuals and entities in a variety of business matters, real estate issues, and disputes involving real property. He has successfully navigated high-stakes negotiations, mediated settlements, and frequently advocates on behalf of clients in both state and federal courts. Beyond his litigation work, he maintains a comprehensive estate planning practice, offering clients strategic solutions to protect their assets and plan for the future. His commitment to excellence and results-driven approach make him a trusted advocate for a wide range of legal needs.

When not practicing law, Jake cherishes spending quality time with his wife, Sydney. An avid outdoorsman, he takes full advantage of the natural beauty of Northwest Arkansas whenever possible. As a former professional river guide, he can be found first and foremost on one of Arkansas’s many exciting rivers and streams after a hard rain. When the water is low Jake enjoys mountain biking, backpacking, and camping throughout the state. His love for adventure reflects his approach to life and work—energetic, focused, and always ready to tackle new challenges. These personal pursuits not only provide balance but also fuel his commitment to excellence in his legal practice.
